How to Do a Sunday Weekly Reset in About 20 Minutes
Spend a short block on Sunday working through three parts in order: look back at the week (wins, what did not get finished, open loops), plan the next one (calendar scan, top three priorities, meals, home, money, personal, tasks to move forward), and choose one change (one thing to stop, one thing to start). Keep it on one page so you finish it.
The three parts, in order
- Look back. Wins, what did not get finished, and open loops. Closing the old week first stops it leaking into the new one.
- Next week. Scan the calendar, write your top three priorities, then one short line each for meals, home, money and personal, plus tasks to move forward.
- One change. Stop one thing, start one thing. One is enough to notice whether it helped next Sunday.
Make it stick
- Run it for three weeks before you change the format.
- Keep the top three to three. If everything is a priority, the page stops helping.
- If one priority keeps coming back, it is probably a goal; give it milestones and a weekly action.
When something else fits better
- If you track daily habits, a habit tracker shows the week's pattern before you sit down to reset.
- If a big goal keeps reappearing, a goal tracker links it to milestones and this week's actions.

Questions
- Does it have to be Sunday?
- No. Pick the day before your week starts, and keep it the same day.
- Paper or Notion?
- Either. The sections are the same; use whichever you will actually open.
- What if I skip a week?
- Start again with the next one. A missed week is just a short Look back.
